My good buddy Katie and her husband, BJ, welcomed their son, Caden Steele, on September 1. He came a couple weeks early, but everyone is doing well. We enjoyed our visit and are excited to see the Bishop family again soon!

Get Ready for the Bride

As Kerri's wedding quickly approached, we celebrated with her bridal shower. The day was beautiful and Kerri received loads of generous gifts. She is much loved...and we have a lot of fun memories of the GREEN shower. WHAT???

Fun at the NEW Zoo

We were in town for Kerri's bridal shower, but were able to have fun with Opa before all of the excitement! Before our adventure, a messy breakfast was whipped up in the kitchen. We then spent the day at the NEW Zoo...plenty of photo opportunities, but getting everyone to sit still at the same time was quite the challenge. The girls always have a blast with their Opa...and I'm confident that Gramps has just as much fun!

Nights at Thunder Lake

We were fortunate to spend more time up north this summer and really enjoyed ourselves. Swimming and fishing kept everyone busy during the day and, as the sun set, the guys still concentrated on their fishing while the ladies huddled around the bonfire pit. Ellana and Avelyn enjoyed their first s'mores...what a sticky mess!

Fun with Grandma Peg

We're baaaaaaack! The summer FLEW by...and now we're making up for those lost moments to share our end-of-the-summer adventures. Grandma Peg had a couple days off in August, so we crashed her vacation for a day. The Racine Zoo was so much fun! We saw a lot of animals, heard a monkey making quite the racket, rode on the little train, and then ended the day with a sweet treat. Everyone was pooped!
