Uncle Justin's Spring Break Adventure
Who wants to go somewhere warm during Spring Break when you can visit your nieces??? Uncle Justin was pooped out after coming to visit us overnight! We took him to the Zoo, to the Tot Park where he went down different slides and spun around on the Merry-Go-Round, and he even helped bake and frost a cake with the ladies. The girls were goofy with all the extra attention...as Avelyn's picture clearly shows...
Rainy Day Fun at the Museum
Monday morning's cold, windy, wet weather was perfect reason for Marin, Margaux, and Sara to call and see if we wanted to check out the Milwaukee Public Museum. The girls had a great time wandering the Streets of Old Milwaukee and looking at the different animals and people that were displayed. The butterfly exhibit was also popular with Avelyn and Ellana; both tried enticing butterflies to sit on their fingers.

A "Holy" Adventure
Tuesday's weather brought about another adventure for us as we made our way to Holy Hill. The wind was blowing really hard, so we ate our picnic lunch in the comfy confines of the van. A priest blessed all of us and said a quick prayer as we made our way into the church. Ellana was looking for Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus while Avelyn was blowing kisses to statues and people that we passed.
Oodles of Fun
Our family was very busy last weekend! We spent Friday evening in Racine. Danny went to watch Horlick's basketball team play with friends so Grandma Peg and the ladies went out for a tasty treat at McDonald's. Friends Annette and daughter Sam met us there...the playland had never seen so much action! Saturday brought family to our house. Amy, Mark, Kerri, Ryan, and Bosco came to visit and spend the night before Sunday's celebration for Mom and Dad's anniversary. We had oodles of fun...Gymboree, the Zoo, and swimming! On Sunday, we ate gobs of good food and enjoyed the beautiful weather. By Sunday night, there were overtired kids in our house!
