Best Buddies

Most days, Ellana and Avelyn are the best of friends. There will always be those tense times...you know, when the same book or toy is THE hot item of the moment...but here are some summer photos of our special ladies.

More Wedding Fun...

Here are a few more pictures from Deidra and Thomas' wedding. Auntie Tina and Deidra looked beautiful! We all had such a nice time. I could post and post and post from this day...maybe someday I'll actually get around to developing these pictures and put them in an album. Now that is quite a dandy concept, eh? Alright...enough for the night. Have happy dreams...and I'm hoping to post more summer pictures before the snowflakes begin to fly... :)

Thomas and Deidra's Wedding

Ellana was asked to be the flower girl for Thomas and Deidra's wedding. She was so excited about her frilly dress and fancy shoes and, for the most part, really pulled off her duties. She neglected to toss out her rose petals while walking down the aisle and stopped to hug and say, "Hi, Mommy" on her way to the front of the church, but stood pretty still while Deidra and Thomas exchanged vows and rings. A beautiful ceremony was followed by more pictures and family time. Both ladies enjoyed the dancing...Avelyn really got into the music!

Ellana was really concerned as to where "her ladies" were all day long. So much fun! We're ready for more family weddings! :)

She's a Wild One...

Avelyn has been actively engaged in everything this summer. Just like her big sister, Avelyn loved Bay Beach, the fairs, playing with friends, and going to classes at Gymboree. She has also mastered climbing from the toilet onto the sink and then tries out all the toothbrushes...enjoys eating art supplies...squeals with joy all day long...she is really learning by "doing" things. Needless to say, Avelyn needs to stay under watchful eyes or she will find something new and exciting to explore...oftentimes resulting in a big mess! :) That smile gets us everytime, though!

Ellana's Summer Fun

Happy Summer! Here are a few shots of Ellana enjoying the summer. She has been enjoying a lot of new experiences...strawberry picking, Bay Beach, a petting zoo, swimming like a fish in Thunder Lake. Oodles of fun with family and friends!
